Early Detection Saves Lives: A National Campaign for Early Screening
The foundation implemented a large-scale awareness and early detection campaign for breast cancer, cervical cancer, and colon cancer in 12 Yemeni governorates.
- Screening more than 25,000 beneficiaries
- Awareness reaching 100,000 people through field teams
- Referring 1,500 suspected cases for advanced testing
- Diagnosing 250 early-stage cases and initiating immediate treatment
The campaign was implemented in partnership with the Yemeni Cancer Control Society and the WHO Executive Office in Aden, and contributed to raising community awareness about the importance of early detection.
